TITLE CHANGE
Our original planned title was '47' We chose this because, briefly: In our horror film there had been a chemical/ nuclear disaster and the fumes in the atmosphere genetically changed the DNA in the human body. The human body has 46 chromosomes and the fumes created an extra chromosome creating some sort of alien or creature.
After reading the feedback we had received after our pitch, there were problems over the title because it suggested that the '47' meant people with 'Down-syndrome' but our initial thought was that people with down-syndrome had a missing chromosome.
To overcome the problem we changed the title to: '49'

COURSEWORK DEADLINE
After the recent weather conditions involving the snow, the media department has postponed the coursework deadline to the 13th of January.
Purple Folder
We took the purple folder home on the 17th to finish all the incomplete work in the folder, we started to plan on our storyboards and scripts etc. And take photos of our locations.
Homework - Marking of previous students work
- Firstly read all the Levels of the mark scheme to get an idea of each one.
- (Level 1 - 1-15, 2 - 16-30, 3 - 31-45, 4 - 36-60
- Mark each one out of 60 and explain why.
We have given this a mark of a level 3.
-There are a number of different shots shown in the film with some being steady shots.
-Colours are appropriate and locations are well used such as the forest.
-The editing of the blue changing of screen with a shaking shot was well used to show that it is the view of one of the possessed.
-One of the downsides of the video was that there was no opening titles or even a title for that matter.
We have given this video a mark of a level 4.
-Excellent shots with good angles and interesting panning shots. Use of distance was used well.
-Mise-en-scene was used well to produce enough lighting and the scenery colour was dark and gloomy which worked well.
-Sound worked well with image.
-Opening titles were clear and looked professional .
We marked this video at level 3.
-The shots are held still a number of times.
-Opening titles were too quickly presented.
-Editing of the camera shots were well placed as they flicked from one to another.
-Black and white editing at the beginning gave it a different feel.
We gave this a level 2.
-Editing of the red/white screen has been used, but used too much.
-Unaware what was fully going on.
-Title relating to type of movie which was good.
-Sound was used well
We filmed this movie at approximately half 5 but the sky started to get dark while we was filming which was a big disadvantage. We have edited the film towards the 40 second limit and to be honest we could have done better but we took into account the '180 degree rule', Panning, camera angles; Such as 'Close-ups, varied range shots and medium shots.' We also took into account the coursework deadline and worked effectively to film, edit and finalize our film before the deadline. We bought make-up and applied it to the 'Zombie characters' this made a big impact on our film...
The shot of the watch was out of focus and the camera needs to be focused for a better shot. The white balance was not done and is recognized visually, so next time we need to white balance the camera. There's a problem with the continuity which we will go onto improve in our next video. The camera work was wobbly and wasn't great which we acknowledged and are changing the cameraman.
